Free Carriage Rides in Harbor Springs
Carriage rides in Harbor Springs are fun for the entire family. Hop on board the carriage--complete with blankets--for a winter experience in downtown Harbor Springs.
The free carriage rides take place on Friday and Sunday afternoons 2-5pm January 4-February 18, 2013. The loading zones are on Bay Street near Stafford's Pier, and on Main Street near Island Bean Coffee Company and Spice Harbor.
If the temperature is below 20 degrees, the horses will stay in their cozy barn. Check the temperature before heading to Harbor Springs. The 20-minute rides, with loading every 30 minutes, carry passengers along the waterfront and through the downtown. Carriage rides are free to the public through the support of downtown merchants. Without the support and donations of the merchants such as Brek-N-Ridge Farm, Litzenburger Landscaping, Bella Regalo and others these would not occur.
Hop aboard the horse-drawn carriage in Harbor Springs for a great Northern Michigan adventure. For more information, contact Scott Ward, 231-838-6124 or 231-526-8606.
